Oshiomhole, Okpebholo, Idahosa Ignite Benin City Ahead Of Edo Guber Election

The streets of Benin City, Edo State capital, were literally set ablaze with enthusiasm as Comrade Adams Oshiomhole led a formidable street-to-street campaign alongside the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Monday Okpebholo, and his running mate, Dennis Idahosa, ahead of the September 21 election.

 

The event, held over the weekend, saw party supporters flooding the streets, chanting and waving banners, creating an atmosphere of hope and unity.

 

Okpebholo and Idahosa, affectionately known as Akpakomiza and Denco, respectively, appear to be capturing the hearts of Edo’s populace with their promises of development and transparent governance.

 

The campaign, symbolised by the mantra of “less talk, more action,” aims to shift from rhetoric to delivering tangible results.

 

The presence of Oshiomhole, a stalwart in Edo politics, added significant weight to the campaign. His endorsement is seen as a powerful affirmation of Okpebholo and Idahosa’s capabilities and vision. Oshiomhole’s rallying cry invigorated the crowd, reinforcing the message that with the right leadership, Edo State could achieve unprecedented growth and development.
