Gallantry: Katsîna Govt Doles Out N5.5m To 4 Police Officers

Katsina State Government has rewarded five point five (5.5) million Naira to four police officers  of the state Police Command  for their outstanding performance in combating insecurity in the state.

The awardees include, Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), Andrew Alphouse who received

two (2) million Naira, while Superintendent of Police (SP), Ibrahim Garba got 1.5 million Naira, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Awal Kabir, one million Naira and Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Iro Shuaibu, one million Naira respectively.

Speaking while hosting the four gallant police officers led by the state Commissioner of Police, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa in his office at General Muhammadu Buhari (Government), House, Katsina, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda appreciated their outstanding performance.

“Katsina State Government is having cordial working relationship with all the security agencies operating in the state, all the security personnel had been more supportive in the fight against in security  challenges and we proud of their dedication and sacrifice,” Governor Radda emphasized.

He maintained that, “the state government is collaborating with them in the fight against the menace affecting the state and the country at large.”

Governor Dikko Radda assured that, the state government would continue to collaborate and partner with the security Agencies in achieving the set goal.

Earlier the state commissioner of Police, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa said Katsina State has the highest number of Police awardees in the country.

Police commissioner, Abubakar Musa said the award was introduced by the Inspector General of Police to motivate 

Police personnel in the country.
