As it dawned into a new day on Saturday May 25, 2024, member representing Kaura Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Honourable Yusuf Mugu woke up to see a live band with a happy birthday rendition as he clocked 60 years.
The atmosphere was filled with love from family members as the lawmaker, overwhelmed by the surprise, shed tears of love.
The band played the happy birthday tune continuously for close to an hour, with neighbours trooping into his residence at the prestigious Sabon Tasha GRA in Kaduna metropolis to catch a glimpse of the happening as well as extend felicitation to Honourable Mugu, who was described by them, as humble, generous and open minded.
That was not all, shortly after the band had performed and left, different vendors were sighted entering his residence, for different purposes, ahead of preparations for the grand party later that evening.
The DJ soon set up, providing captivating music that saw all present either dancing, nodding to the rhythm or tapping their feet to the beats.
Within a short time, Honourable Mugu’s residence was agog with family members, friends, neighbours and acquaintances who turned up within short notice to join in the celebration.
Speaking with our reporter, his wife, Dr. Joyce Mugu said that the surprise birthday bash was organised to celebrate her husband who has been a source of inspiration to the entire family.
She wished her husband long life and prosperity.
The birthday celebration was a double, as Honourable Mugu’s grand daughter, Keziah also celebrated same day.
